Fairfield, NJ – March 28, 2019 – ZKTeco USA's OP-400 is a state-of-the-art facial recognition reader designed for Lenel OnGuard and Amag Symmetry access control systems. Its unique integration completely eliminates the need for template management software. This makes the OP-400 the fastest, easiest and most economical way for the security industry to allow Lenel & Amag customers to add biometric security to their facilities. The OP-400 can be configured as a primary or secondary reader. The primary reader stores and synchronizes the newly added face templates with all secondary readers. The primary reader also synchronizes the user data it receives from the Lenel OnGuard access control system (or Amag Symmetry) with all secondary readers.
When users authenticate to a secondary OP400 reader with their credential (ie, their face and / or card) on the door, the OP400 slave reader will consult its integrated database for a match of credentials. After a positive match, the secondary reader OP400 will transmit the user ID to the panel of Lenel (or Amag) through Wiegand (or OSDP). If the panel determines that the user has the appropriate access rights, the panel of Lenel (or Amag) will open the door, as appropriate. Note that any subsequent changes in Onguard users (or symmetry) or face templates (in OP400 Primary) are automatically synchronized with the OP400 secondary readers in the network.
