Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including voluntary work done through National Service programs (eg, Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (eg, professionals, philanthropies, religious, spiritual, community student, social). You will receive credit for the entire qualification experience, including the volunteer experience. Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience that includes controlling the access of vehicles and pedestrians to a facility; Using physical access control systems to safeguard personnel, information and critical assets; Direct a group of employees by distributing and balancing the workload and ensuring that work is done in a timely manner. This definition of specialized experience is typical of the work done in the next grade / lower level position in the federal service (GS-06).
