Cranbury, NJ – June 11, 2019 – Iris ID, a leading global provider of iris recognition technology, today announced its award-winning iCAM M300 multimode handheld biometric platform that now offers uninterrupted access control, time and attendance, as well as hiring employees for both commercial and governmental purposes. The iCAM M300, which also uses the Iris Access EAC software from Iris ID, continues to provide a portable biometric identification and identification solution ideal for law enforcement, border control and national identification programs, all from the comfort of a device mobile with Android. Users of the iCAM M300 can extend their iris readers mounted on the door using a cloud-based mobile server that automatically synchronizes all users, access and activity data.

The iCAM M300 has integrated cameras for simultaneous capture of iris and facial modes. An optional add-on module provides a unique fingerprint collection compatible with the FBI 500DPI. Also included is the magnetic and contactless card holder, as well as a MRZ reader to verify electronic passports. The communication protocols include NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 4G LTE.
