Suprema presented the latest access control and biometric solutions at Security Exhibition & Conference 2019 in Australia
Suprema Inc. has presented the company's latest range of biometric security solutions at Security Exhibition & Conference 2019 in Sydney, Australia. At the fair, Suprema presented FaceLite, its latest facial recognition terminal, second-generation fingerprint IP readers and business access control solutions.
Launched at ISC West in April this year, Suprema extends the introduction of FaceLite in Australia. FaceLite provides the best facial recognition performance in the world in terms of matching speed, operating lighting and user capacity. In addition to FaceLite, Suprema will demonstrate its range of access control terminals, the updated BioStar 2 security platform with visitor management solution.
The new FaceLite is designed for both business access control systems and time assistance applications by introducing Suprema's industry-leading innovative technologies and features. Loaded with a powerful 1.2GHz CPU and massive 8GB memory, FaceLite reaches an incredible speed of up to 30,000 matches per second and can accommodate 30,000 users while providing an intuitive graphical user interface that allows faster registration. On the optical side, the new facial recognition technology overcomes the possible interference of dynamic lighting conditions, including sunlight and ambient light. The new technology allows a wider range of operational illuminance, from zero lux to 25,000 lux, covering almost all possible lighting conditions, regardless of indoor or outdoor, day or night.
In addition, the company also introduced CoreStation, the industry’s largest and most advanced intelligent access controller based on biometrics. The new Suprema CoreStation is a smart door controller that offers biometric security advantages compared to centralized access control systems. Designed for mid-level enterprise-level systems, CoreStation handles up to 500,000 users with incredible fingerprint comparison speeds of up to 400,000 matches per second. By providing high performance, biometric availability and communication over Ethernet, CoreStation is able to offer comprehensive access control functions for up to 132 access points along with the company's BioStar 2 security platform. The device also provides centralized biometric template management and also interconnects with a complete set of reading technologies, such as RS-485 (OSDP) and Wiegand.
Together with the new enterprise access control solution and facial recognition technology, Suprema also presented the company's latest range of biometric and access control solutions at Security Exhibition and Conference 2019.
