IDEX Biometrics has announced that it will supply the fingerprint sensors for a new biometric identification card of Dongtech Anatech. The new cards are designed for access control and will take advantage of the IDEX SmartFinger IDX 3200 dual interface fingerprint sensor specifically.
DongWoon is a biometric algorithm provider based in South Korea and will partner with an external card manufacturer to produce the cards. IDEX plans to start sending sensors in the first half of 2020, while the cards will be designed with a view to the international market.
"IDEX fingerprint technology and experience in realized systems
they are the obvious partner of choice, "said DongWoon senior vice president Kyu Han." This
Technology represents the next generation of secure access solutions and I am
looking forward to offering this solution to our customers. "
The news is based on the previous success of IDEX with the SmartFinger IDX 3200 sensor, which was the focal point of a billionaire agreement with an unnamed partner earlier this year. IDEX began to fulfill that request in October.
IDEX recently received a UK patent for its card enrollment solution, which complemented similar patents in the U.S Y Australia. Chutian dragon Y IDEMIA I have authorized card enrollment technology over the past year.
