BioConnect has announced that its unified mobile access solution is now compatible with the technology of a large number of leading access control manufacturers. The solution can now be implemented together with the access management systems of AMAG, Genetec, Paxton, Kantech and Honeywell (Win-Pak and Pro-Watch), among others.
The Unified Mobile Access platform is primarily built for physical access control for those looking to gain access to a building. However, it can be used just as easily to protect other sensitive areas of an installation, including vaults and data centers.
To do so, the platform allows security administrators to synchronize their existing hardware, including cards, readers and other credentials, with a mobile application to introduce two-factor authentication at all entry points. Administrators can take advantage of a third-party application such as Duo Security, or the BioConnect application that provides biometric authentication and identity verification.
The various associations ensure that the BioConnect application can essentially
be installed from the first moment.
"A company may be working with everything
solution installed and users provisioned in less than 30 minutes, "BioConnect said
CTO Courtney Gibson.
The other providers that now offer support for Unified
Mobile access are open options, Lenel S2, Software House, Brivo, Pacom, PCSC,
Maxxess and Dormakaba.
BioConnect made fun of a Improved version of its access control platform in March, and then launched a Partner Program which provides companies with a curated list of security solutions. The Canadian company is currently looking to expand with $ 3.9 million in federal funds.
